Anthony "Scott" Good, the chief of the US Border Patrol El Paso Sector, recently disseminated information via social media. In his post, Good also revealed that Ysleta agents provided assistance to another migrant requiring medical attention.
According to a subsequent social media post by Good on an unspecified date, he disclosed that in the current fiscal year to date, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents have successfully rescued 308 migrants.
In terms of geographical responsibility, agents from the Lordsburg Station oversee 80 miles of the international border and an expansive 4,256 square miles of southwestern New Mexico. As stated by CBP, both marine and CBP air assets located in Deming are integral to the station’s operation.
