Republicans in the State House are asking Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham to find a way to keep county fairs in the state operational if even in modified form.

Curry Commission to possibly redirect water tax

The Curry County Commission might redirect a 20-year old tax that was earmarked to go toward water treatment facilities and instead use it for other purposes at a meeting on May 19.
