On Friday, January 12, former West Mesa High School standouts Emily Burk and Maiah Rivas’ current college team, the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls, lost 49-58 in their NCAA D2 game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place in Las Vegas, New Mexico. This was the first matchup against the Metro State Roadrunners this season.

The New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 13 at 5 p.m. in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
