View from the Amole Canyon Trail's South Loop on Feb. 21, 2023.
This trail is very popular for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. With plenty of snow on the ground, plenty of people were taking part in both activities this past weekend.
Amole Canyon is located off New Mexico State Highway 518 between Taos and Peñasco.
