Heads up, Angel Fire area! Camino Real Ranger District staff will be in town to issue permits for fuelwood and Christmas trees both tomorrow, Wed., Nov. 23, and next week Wed., Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come to the Angel Fire Community Center at 15 Cs Ranch Rd., Angel Fire, NM 87710.
Only cash will be accepted.
Permits available:
- Free dead and down fuelwood permits (five cord limit) for the Camino Real and Questa ranger districts
- Dead and down fuelwood permits for all ranger districts on the forest (10 cords for $20, 20 cords for $40)
- Christmas tree permits, three-tree limit per household ($5 up to 10 ft.; $10 for 10.1 ft. to 15 ft.; $15 for 15.1 ft. to 20 ft.)
All permits expire Dec. 31, 2022.
