On the left from last week, the cottonwood tree at the entrance to our El Rito Ranger Station was showing off its peak fall color. And on the right from this afternoon, the same tree, now nearly leafless, has been dusted with snow.
The current storm will bring more snow to the Forest this afternoon into the evening, followed by a forecasted dry period through early next week. Follow US National Weather Service Albuquerque New Mexico to stay updated throughout this winter. And stay safe and enjoy this weather!
