UNM-Taos HIVE is proud to sponsor the Youth Coding League in Northern New Mexico. Our first school Taos Academy accepted the challenge and have a 5-6th and 7-8th team competing nationally. I am proud to announce our 7-8th grade team are currently in 2nd place after completing the 3rd Sprint. Interested in knowing how to get your school involved, contact Rose at taoshive@unm.edu.
Our new partners at the UNM-Taos Hub of Internet-based Vocation and Education (HIVE) in Taos, New Mexico are on a mission to offer individualized learning journeys to those interested in working online or becoming an entrepreneur. Their “hive” environment combines small business coaching and mentorship, a coworking space, and community college classrooms to support any stage of learning in an accepting, accessible, and community-led atmosphere.
Thanks to the support of our partners at the UNM-Taos HIVE, we've expanded into a new state and school this Fall.
Help us in welcoming the Taos Academy Charter School to the league and be sure to cheer the coders on this season!
