Coffee with a Ranger Starts Friday

Come meet Questa District Ranger Adam LaDell (pictured) at one of his upcoming "Coffee with a Ranger" meetups. The first two will be over the next week (more to come):

- 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, October 14, at the Espresso Bar at Taos Valley Lodge, Taos Valley Lodge, 615 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, NM, 87571.

- 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, at Rael's Market & Coffee Shop, 2430 NM-522, Questa, NM, 87556.

There are six ranger districts on the Carson National Forest and each ranger is in charge of managing one or more of them. LaDell oversees the 276,000-acre Questa Ranger District, which is to the north of Taos and includes many notable areas and adjoining cities/neighborhoods including Taos Ski Valley, Arroyo Seco, San Cristobal, Questa, Red River, Cabresto Canyon and Valle Vidal.

“I’m always looking for ways to connect and build relationships with the public in a non-office setting,” said Ladell. “Please join me so we can get some face time and go over any questions you have about Forest management on the district.”
