Looking for a horse? We have four wild horses available for adoption and sale at our corrals in Bloomfield, NM. Adoptions of yearlings are $125 and sales of 10-year-old and older mares are $25. See the photo captions for a little more about each horse.
To adopt a wild horse, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age (Parents or guardians may adopt a wild horse and allow younger family
members to care for the animal.)
• Have no prior conviction for inhumane treatment of animals or for violations of the Wild Free-
Roaming Horses and Burros Act;
• Demonstrate that you have adequate feed, water, and facilities to provide humane care for the number
of horses requested; and
• Show that you can provide a home for the adopted animal in the United States.
• Be available for inspection after the first year of adoption (adoptions only).
