Members of the New Mexico National Guard working in support of the Incident Management Team tour the Incident Command Post and visit with Operations, Air Operations and the Long Term Fire Analyst. These guard members are working with the Black Hawk helicopter assigned to help in the event of a medical emergency. Two of the crew were recognized for their outstanding efforts not only to help via the Guard but also as volunteers helping the community in other ways such as the animal rescue. Other Guard members are also helping law enforcement with road closures. These partnerships demonstrate agencies ability to work together in crisis and serve residents of State of New Mexico.
