Of the 750 people living in San Jose in 2020, 43.3 percent (325) were women and 56.7 percent (425) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE New Mexico News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 118. In the 65 and over age range, there were 63 females and 39 males.
