Mora County issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
Due to current existing moisture, Mora County hereby temporarily lifts open burning, camp fire, smoking and fireworks restrictions as of October 28, 2020.
County officials continue to urge everybody to take precautions when engaging in any activity that could potentially cause an unwanted fire.
Fire restrictions will be reimposed on, Monday, November 9, 2020.
