NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY: Call for Poster Art

Pencils art 1000

New Mexico Highlands University issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.

This is an invitation for all Las Vegas area students of all grades in all schools.

The City of Las Vegas has formed a collaboration between the United World College, Luna Community College, New Mexico Highlands University, West Las Vegas School District and Las Vegas City Schools called Vecinos Juntos de Las Vegas to make volunteerism a force for recognizing that we are all neighbors with an uncommon commitment for the common good and to become a community educated for the common good through shared, volunteer community projects.

This poster is to be designed to announce the painting of the gazebos and the Bridge as a community wide volunteer activity. Use your creativity to announce how our community comes together for the common good. This is not a contest, every poster submitted will be used to advertise the event. The posters will be posted on Facebook and placed in businesses in town.
