Union County issued the following announcement on July 17.
Non-response follow up for the 2020 U.S. Census begins August 11. If you haven't responded online, a census worker might visit your household. As much as we appreciate their hard work, you can help decrease the number of census worker visits by responding by phone, mail, or online.
With as much as our world is changing daily, I want to help make sure you get counted as easily as possible. Every person counted in Union County provides funding for our basic infrastructure: YOU COUNT!
Here's how you can help:
Visit 2020census.gov for information on what the census means and why it's important and how you can be counted online.
If someone has already visited you and left a census packet, fill it out and drop in the mail.
If you prefer to talk to a human but don't want to be on hold, call me on my personal cell at (505) 690-4155 and leave a clear message with your name and number or email me at clay.kiesling@unionnm.us with your information. Our Northeast NM Regional Specialist, Melissa Vasquez, will contact you directly to get your Census count completed.
Thank you so much!
