The Nusenda credit union branch in Taos sent out an email to all of its customers on March 16, notifying them of a person possibly infected with COVID-19 that went through the branch between March 2 and March 5.
Other customers received an additional email that the branch would close its doors to complete a deep clean of the lobby. During the deep clean, the drive-thru would remain open.
The customers who were in the lobby during the period of the possible exposure were emailed based on banking transactions. All customers were notified of the potential exposure and those working between those dates were self-quarantining for 14 days.
"To our knowledge, our Taos employees have not contracted the virus," read the email, reported by Taos News.
